Breakfast event: Beneath the Bonnet, 18th July, DT2 7LG
Discussion
Good morning,
Over the last few years we ve run a monthly breakfast meet at the beautiful Athelhampton House. After a short hiatus, we ve bought it back - and July marks the second event this year.
Arrivals are welcome from 8:30am, giving everyone a good excuse for an early morning drive before parking up and grabbing a coffee. The kitchen opens from 9:00am with tea, coffee and a range of breakfast options (not just baps!). Please remember though that refreshments and food start from 9am.
It s a relaxed, informal morning for car enthusiasts to meet up, talk nonsense about cars, admire what s turned up, and enjoy the surroundings. We ll also have a small screen in the breakfast room showing a few automotive-themed films in the background.
The name Beneath the Bonnet is also a small nod to the idea that there s often more going on with people than what s on the surface. We ll have a few information cards available from Andy's Man Club alongside details of local support groups - just something there for anyone who might find it useful.
Otherwise, it s simply about a good drive, good breakfast, and good company. If you d like to come along, please drop a comment below with your name and the car you re bringing, and I ll add you to the register.
Looking forward to seeing some familiar faces - and some interesting machinery.
