Every year in June there's a Classic car show on Clifton Downs & this year it's June 10th - see here http://visitbristol.co.uk/site/bristo

Does anybody know who the organisers are for this? Would like to contact them - I recall in the past there's always been an appeal for cars to be displayed, but I don't know who to contact.

Is all I can make out. I happened to take this picture the other day when I saw it. See if you can make anything else out.

On the Saturday before the Sunday event just pop up to the downs & ask the security where the barnados tent is, just ask the people there & they will give you a form to fill out & a ticket, just rock up Sunday & drive on in. Or on the Sunday morning you could start at Redwood Lodge, theres normally a parade drive around Bristol then head to the Downs in convoy. I've done that the last 3 years & I dont think i'll bother again, just go straight to the event it self.

First year we actually stumbled on the convoy by accident, we didnt have a ticket or anything just kind of joined on the back, they were just letting us in when we turned around & shot off as we had other things to do!

Cracking day if its sunny, dont bother if we have a lot of rain.

Those are 2 different events. The top link is for the Evening post event for Barnardos on the downs. The other link is for the car show that happened last weekend at Bath & West show ground.

We were saying only the other day that Bristol is pretty cool with car events, at least 3 per year, these 2 plus the Italian car show in Corn St, that will be coming up soon.

(Edit to say: when i said top link I ment the link from Chris B)
