anyone with a recommendation for a clay pigeon shooting experience day type thing in Devon? somewhere not a million miles from sidmouth would be ideal....

I'll second this. The shooting there is great - much better than other places I have been to, and the prices are good. £25ish for 25 clays. Doesn't sound much, but its perfect for a first time. If there isn't anyone booked in afterwards, I am sure you could always pay the same again for another 25. They are very friendly like that.
