Paint repair in the Bristol area
Discussion
Always worth trying Brin Jones. They have just finished work on my car and the results are very good.

Hi Paul
Jag still looking fab after a winter outside, only been washing and drying. Will do a top up on the Glare over the next month or so

Mikey3028, where do you live? My wife and I both had our cars keyed last weekend, in total £2k worth of damage (my M5 was keyed all along the driver side!). We just used Dentmagic in the Paintworks on the A4 for the repair to the Cooper S, they did a nice job for a relatively small amount of money (didn't go through the insurance company).
I will be extra vigilant this weekend and if I see any more of this going on, I will be dusting off the baseball bat and putting it to good use... mindless vandalism and of course, the Police have been super helpful, as always ;-)
Hope you get it fixed...

Thanks ever so much for the suggestions. Will have to get onto it quick as its all I can see when I go to the boot!
At brissleboy - I work in Durnford Street in Ashton (Almost next to Clayton Cars!) It happened right outside my offices. Its a road used by many a school kid and whilst I should tar them with that brush I have my suspicions.
Thanks again guys.

+10 very good job I have from Jason. good price tooI know exactly where you mean, I grew up in Ashton. We now live off the Wells Road in Knowle, never had any problems before until last weekend. A lot of cars were keyed on Bayham Road, maybe it was school kids too, charged with alcohol though and game for a 'laugh'. To be honest, I hope so, better than a serial car scratcher!
Cheers mate

Glad to hear that the Jag is still looking good - after the initial quite specific machine application Glare is very easy to top up and uses some form of witchcraft to keep paint looking cracking. Not sure about my business model though, it can be 2 years or more before seeing somes cars back for another detail
Oh well, I guess making my first million will have to wait a bit longer

what made it worse for me is that id just spent 4 hours cleaning off all the microscopic bits of dirt/tar and crap and waxed it silky smooth. then the worst happend. Almost makes you want to do time for it.

AngryApples, like you wouldn't believe mate! It has just gone in to BMW this morning to be repaired, trouble is now I'm absolutely terrified of parking it near where I live just in case it happens again! You work hard and save to buy something nice, your pride and joy, then this happens, certainly takes the joy of ownership away... I'm seriously considering changing it now :-(
Mikey3028, yep that's right, just near the park! Good to see a fellow Knowler on here... did you use Dentmagic in the end?
