There is an excellent cafeteria in the main car park often frequented by PH'rs after hoons, and very reasonably priced.http://osborneviewhillhead.co.uk/
Haven't been for years but this place used to be ok. Probably get quite a good view from inside also.
FYI I've seen the boaty today and it's a biggun. All boat trips from Gun Wharf to see it were sold out by the time we got there at about 1pm though. We just saw it from the PH car park at Stokes Bay.
