Moving house - solicitors and surveyors

Just wondering if we've got any PH professionals in this field in the south coast forums. Eyeing up our first house purchase at the moment and are into the stages where we need to search for a solicitor and potentially on to surveys and all that jazz.

Any recommendations would be gratefully recieved.

We used a chap called Paul Sams at Eric Robinson in Southampton when we bought our house. I'd definitely recommend him if you're in that area. He was efficient, professional and good value.
