I'm a little bored, wifey has been advised to go to hospital, she is currently 34 weeks pregnant and had severe pre-eclampsia last time with our first and now, here we are after a 'clear run' to this point back sat in hospital with her hooked upto machines monitoring her and 'sex and name unknown' baby number 2. Hopefully she will be coming out tonight (mrs not the baby) and all will be good for the rest of the pregnancy. But for now, we are bored sat in pre-delivery listening to people's conversations and wondering how long we will be here. Hopefully not too long, she wants to get home and there is Sunday Service to get to!

Sorry for spelling mistakes etc I'm posting off the phone, I'll be bringing the iPad when she goes into labour!!! (if we get that far this time!).

Thank you mate, I am pretty sure we will be (it's my work do tonight too!) just waiting for results and for a DR to come and take some bloods.

I have just remembered how boring it was waiting around last time with the other one.

Good luck. smile Hope all's well in the end.

I was sat in some fancy building in London for 5 hours yesterday waiting for my girlfriend to finish some modelling audition. That was rather boring (although I appreciate I didn't have the worry of someone's life being in the balance). iPhone kept me entertained until the battery went flat frown

I'm on 66% battery and still lurking on here, twitter and eBay. Surely during a modelling audition there must have been something interesting to look at? We've got the ok now just waiting for a DR to come and see her now (may be here sometime!).

Just thankful that I have 3G!

A few good things to look at. I was sat in the waiting area away from the studio though so only saw a few. TBH it was funny watching them trying to walk in high heels and short dresses. Some of them just couldn't!

Good news. PS. What did we do before mobile internet and mobile games?!

Haha, I know what you mean about them not walking in high heels!!
Tell me about it, very possibly me and my mrs might have spoken to each other. We look like a couple of zombies both laying on the bed on our phones.

Just wish the doc would hurry up. Got to go and top the parking up in a min!

Good luck.

All will be fine even if the baby comes early. Our daughter was born at 26 weeks and is now an annoying 11 year old.

I assume you have done the usual bloke in hospital things?

1. eyed up the nurses
2. looked for cultures of MRSA growing in the corners
3. searched fruitlessly for a Doctor that doesn't speak english as a 2nd or 3rd language
4. had a bad cup of tea
5. been tempted to push random buttons on various medical machines

etc

Out of that list I have done #1 and 2 but there is no doctor avaliable at the moment so we are leaving (mrs is ok now) and they will contact us if there is a problem with any of the bloods taken.
That's great news about your daughter, ours stopped growing at 34 weeks and was born at 36 weeks weighing 5.10lbs. She is now an 'adventurous' 18 month old.

Snap! That was me last Thursday night, pretty much. Will be again no doubt too! I think our case is less severe than it was last time thankfully (we had twins before!)

Sat back in hospital again, been here since midday, the midwife advised that mrs came and sat here as her BP was something over 95 so a little on the high side.

Just sat here waiting for blood test results now and what time we are going home.

Brought the iPad - Just need to work out the hospital user details so I can thrash their WIFI.

Thanks mate, She is back home again now but got to go back tomorrow as the baby has stopped growing (34 weeks - same as our daughter) for a scan but BP and movement (for the baby) are both good so fingers crossed it comes after christmas now haha!

Still, back to hospital tomorrow *sigh*...

Least it's all for their safety and the staff were doing a good job (the DR was a bit dubious though)

It sounds like you'll both be fine. 95 isn't too much to worry about, and I didn't much like the Saudi Dr. who was supposed to give us the 'get go' when we had an obviously perfect boy. I marched us out in the end.

Best of.
