I'm thinking of going to visit this event for the first time this year and am wondering if it is worth going to?
Any PHers either take their cars or visit?
Thanks in advance.

If I can shake the damn aids and the weather is reasonable, I may take the kids to have a look around for a short while smile

Looked a bit of a wash out when we ran past in the rain. People were leaving before 1.

I saw an old school Roller heading out of Lilliput this morning, i assume it was heading that way. Weather has be aweful though. We went down to Sandbanks for walk with the mutts and got soaked. I did see a Red NSX driving thorough a flood on Shore Rd which was brave.

As we were staying the night in town thought i'd go down, dont know what its been like in previous years but i thought it was very good, brought back a lot of good memories of cars owned in the pastsmile, a nice standard HSR Chevette and a Renault Alpina made my day!, shame about the weather thoughfrown

In previous years, when our dear friend the old 'current bun' has put in an appearance, it has filled the promenade by the roundabout for the BIC all the way down both sides to pier approach, more cars there, then some up the hill by the I max and along the sea front (under the east cliff) to where the public parking begins.

Alas today was somewhat subdued, I was still impressed to see a very nice MGC roadster out, an Austin Healey 100/6, a very early Triumph Spitfire and an enthusiastically driven '67 Hillman Hunter (skinny tyres sideways, respect wink ).
For those who are interested, this happens every Sunday afternoon from Easter Sunday onwards. Always nice to have a mooch about.

If my car were touch more practical I would of braved it. I do try to get down as much as I can in the summer, there's always some nice different metal to look at from early vintage stuff to mk1 astra with a let lump stuffed in it

Red with a white hard top and steel wheels Luke, I presumed it was a 100/6 with it running steels although, it could have been an early MK1 3000.
