South Coast convoy to Silverstone SS on Sunday

Shall we start a convoy list and get some timings sorted?
As the gates open at 9am the departure times will be quite early. I'll be leaving Ringwood around 7am as the route will take about 2hrs. Its 113 miles from Ringwood by the shortest route and i plan on making a couple of stops along the way to pick up convoy members. I did think about doing Hindhead on the way up but at the expense of another 50 miles / 1 hour im not sure it'll be worth it, especially when its early in the morning. If we feel fruity we could always visit on the return journey.
If you want to join the convoy up here are the scheduled stops:
7.15am - Rownhams services
7.40am - Tesco car park off J9
Dan Yeates, could you let me know your plans ref jumping in with me? I can pick you up en-route or at your Dads if you want.

Ash has double booked us for the afternoon! It's her dads 60th birthday and last week she arranged to go out for lunch together. We're meeting in Christchurch at 14:00. When do you think we'll be heading back? I don't want to rush you. I could meet you at J1 on the M27 for a quick changeover of cars.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Never mind, I'll have to pass on this one then, can't really miss the birthday meal. Have a good drive up and sorry to have to pull out. Eddie
