7th April Run

Hey Guys.

Would anyone be up for a run down to Beachy Head, starting point is open for discussion as to where is best for everyone. Some good car parks to stop at, awesome roads, twisty turny country roads and some wider roads to pop your foot down on. Ending up at Beachy Head for some food and a drink or to stop for an ice cream and some photos

First run I've attempted organising so hopefully people will be interested

I live directly north up the a22 and is usually a good drive down there. Depending on where others are there are a lot of great routes down there

We could do an early morning one to miss the traffic and have a good drive if this suits people best?

Was thinking of starting somewhere west of Beachy Head along the a272. Great road as many of you will know. Can do early morning start if this is okay for everyone? Let me know guys.

How about starting in Petersfield on the a272, down the a275 towards Lewes, a quick blast on the a26 and onto the a259.
A total of roughly 74 miles.
Any suggestions on start time?

How about 7am? or am I being too brave?

More important, where will we get breakfast?

7am is cool with me, if everyone else is okay with that. I'll have a look and see what's on the route, if anyone knows of any good places speak up.
I'll be bringing my dogcam and recording the hoon in HD.

I've found out I'm due to be at a rolling road event at Surrey Rolling Road that morning too...Maybe it could be fun ending up there at the end of the run?

If you like, I can ask if they can cater for a few more PH'ers?

I think the start point will be somewhere along the a272, I'm thinking Peterfield or somewhere near there.

Guys, starting point is the Seven Stars pub on the a272 near Petersfield. Be there for 730 to leave for 8. Approx distance is 75 miles to Beachy Head which should make for some good driving.

I'll try to tag along with you as you go, I can't make it to Petersfield for 7:30am. So with that in mind...

Saw this above. Down A275 to Lewes, then up A26 to Uckfield, down A22 to Eastbourne?

Or Cuilfail tunnel in Lewes, A27 to Beddingham roundabout, down to Newhaven from there then along the A259 to Beachy Head.

Of course, I could just meet you at Beachy Head!
