South Coast Fuel Situation

They should check your gauge when you arrive at the pump and if you have over half a tank you should be told to man the f
k up and stop being a panic buying prick. Not that I find any of this annoying at all!! I will however be cycling to work for the next to days to make sure I have enough motion juice to get me to the Sunday service!!

I will however be cycling to work for the next to days to make sure I have enough motion juice to get me to the Sunday service!!I had to queue in Cowplain for a while last night. Half the pumps were already closed - no normal unleaded so I had to fill up with super unleaded at a silly price.
Judging by the amount of time people were spending actually filling up I'd say most were just topping up their tanks. Meanwhile, people like me, who get through a full tank every few days and needed fuel to get to work today, were struggling to find fuel.
The cashier said that one guy paid for his fuel and then announced that he was going straight home to get his wife's car & fill that up too. Ever get the feeling that you're surrounded by idiots?

Quite right mate! The Abarth was just below half but I can piss more in one go than the bloody tank holds!

Got work tomorrow, a possible dyno run at Janspeed on Saturday and of course Sunday Service. I'm doing everything I can to conserve petrol................
Stef
Mark, can you get me a jerry can full? Cars is supposed to be off to garage for check over and MOT before putting it back on the road, and I don't think I have enough fuel to get it to the other side of the island at the moment!
The Esso didn't have fuel but it appeared the Texaco did when I can home at about 20.00!
Hardly any cars at all on the Shell forecourt on the A3 at Liss!

Asda Brighton Marina has sold out of petrol and diesel.
I thought it quite strange tonight that both the Shell Preston Park and the Texaco? A23/Pycombe not only had fuel but had relatively normal queues.
Mrs Fubes reported the station at Mannings Heath (Horsham ) had queues 100 yards up the road when she went out at 5.30pm yet when she drove back past at 6.45pm the place was virtually empty, so she pulled in and filled up
