Job vacancy - again!
Discussion
Some of you will remember last year i advertised a job vacancy within our Jewellery Repair Workshop in Bournemouth. Well, turns out we are looking again. After a few unsuccessful and unsuitable candidates we did give one young guy a shot, but for unforseen reasons he left of his own accord earlier this year to repursue his previous line of work. Some of you will have met him last October at the last Pub Club of 2011 when he first started with us, nice guy.
So, the seat and a long term job is up for grabs.
What we are looking for is, a young person looking to get into a creative and interesting field of work. Somebody who is punctual, willing to learn, can take constructive criticism and who has a good sense of humour. Someone who is willing to work as a family and team member, someone who is looking for a steady job with good perks.
Important qualities we are looking for are: Confidence in the workshop, in public and on the phone. High standards and attention to detail. Not scared to get his hands dirty or shy of the odd papercut! Acceptable level of personal hygiene and cleanliness is a must.
We will run another batch of 1 week acquaints so get those things right and the rest will be taught on the job.
The job is also open to older applicants who are already fully or part trained goldmisths, or even to those who just fancy retraining and a complete change of role. Please apply via PH or via my email: niacuk@yahoo.co.uk to discuss suitability.
