so if anyone knows anywhere a little closer than the Bolderwood place along that route that'd be fantastic. i know there is the place here as well, where i've been a few times

There's loads of places in the forest to park up. I work near the new hospital in Lymington and I often drive out to here for lunch....

Otherwise, I'll often drive here after work for a cycle...

that's awesome thanks biggrin Wilverly inclosure looks really quite nice. my usual "week-day" runs by myself are relatively short anyway...monday an easy 4 miles and wednesday and easy 5-6 as tues/thurs and saturday are club sessions and sundays the longer 10-12 miles (in summer, winter are longer)....and may even start driving out to these places to do my longer runs in the future too biggrin

any more suggestions by others more than welcome smile

There are toilets, fixed BBQs and usually an ice cream van at Wilverley, which is always nice! In previous (read warmer!) summers, we'd go out for a bike ride from Wilverley and then have a BBQ there after work.
