After bringing my ropey loud, wheel scuffing locked differential BMW to the meets ive decided to leave drifting for a bit in the pursuit of actually owning a nice car! Many of you will recognise or remember looking at puzzled through the strange noises it made on a hard surface.. I was also surprised last time i posted my newbie thread how many people drive past my house and see my creations over the years!!

Anyway at 22 I decided now I have finished my masters degree, I have a semi proper job and the girlfriend wants to move into our own place..... QUICK buy a new car before all the money disappears on wallpaper and washing machines!!!

So here is my new purchase a E46 330ci in Orient blue biggrin

As I have never owned a standard looking car out the 3 I have owned since 18, first thing first was some new LED rear lights

AND... to be fair it lasted the longest of all my cars at a normal ride height, dropped it on some coilovers. Now this is possibly not the best idea but I couldn't move out of home not knowing when I would be able to afford some nice wheels. (ive never kept standard wheels) and well 1 month before we move I spotted these for sale poorly advertised in incorrect sections and stole these for a great price! 18" BBS RK split rims in 8.5J fronts and 10J rear!

So now its a waiting game till Friday when dad returns home from collecting them on his way work! Might need to play with the arches on the back to make 10J fit nicely... Cant wait to get to a meet and not have to hide the car in a corner biggrin

The E36 looks interesting. What's the spec on that? Is it for sale?

E36 is gone, Was a pretty basic raw drift car, welded diff, coilovers, polly bushes, bucketseats and harness, that was it. Other than the worlds worst paint ever, mix of satin and gloss from previous owner who tried to repair something, a suspected shunt I think but never found out! New owner has it and it regularly attends santa pod drift days!!

Has it got a CD player (player player player)?

Looks good, gotta love picking up a bargain from poorly listed items. Catch you at a meet soon smile

Nice, I'd leave the MV2's on, they are the perfect wheels for an E46. IMHO smile

They are MV1 biggrin they are a bit to.. generic for me and I wanted to try and stop it looking like its a company car haha. These will hopefully be the first of many little changes to make it more mine rather than just another e46 biggrin

Nice, I miss my drift cars. Did you used to have a silver saloon on the same wheels?

Forgot I made this! As it turns out quite a few people pass the car regularly Here it is with the BBS wheels on. Some will some wont like. Currently it has some boring nasty track wheels on over the salt period! The BBS's are sat under my desk all split ready to be polished up and painted graphite centers biggrin

Love genuine BBS wheels, almost impossible to make a car look bad on them.

Glad you like it. I prefer it standard but each to their own!

Oof love it, that's a really nice E36 as well, too many people in the drift scene bazzing them up with neon crap ruining the nice clean lines. Really regret not going down the E36 route, bought an S13 instead and promptly blew it up. If you're craving some drifty fun, volvo 300s can still be had for cheap, I ran a 360 with a welder for a while and it was such a hoot.
