I was at the local Hill Climb event last weekend, not sure if it will be the Nationals this weekend. If so, it will be busy!!! The bike engined minis are quick!!!

Thanks for the heads up, had a great time and got some good photos and videos.

Off to Cobo for dinner tonight to watch the sunset :-)

Go and get a tea and a scone at the Guernsey Pearl. Staff seemed a bit dis-interested but the view is really nice.

(league of gentlemen mode on!)Not local as such!(league of gentlemen mode off!)

Have lived on the rock for six years west coast sunsets are great as are some of the other islands

but a little bit lacking in anything barring the odd hill climb or sprint

that said enjoy your time here smile

Indeed, not sure I could live here until I'm a bit older. We're here visiting the island's newest dentist.

Had lunch there today, very nice cafe and surroundings. Waiting for flight home now but will be back soon now that we have a base.
