Hi,

One of our Pajeros won't start and I need a specialist to have a look at it. Ideally local to Lymington. Can anyone help? Need it looked at ASAP as we need it for work.

Thanks,

Dan

I know it's not that local but there is a Mitsubishi specialist in Hilsea, Portsmouth called MitsiArt

Just had similar problems myself. Mine died a couple of times whilst driving, but restarted reasonably quickly. Then died and wouldn't start. It would turnover, but not fire.

The fuel pump is generally the culprit. The easy bit is replacing a seal, harder is replacing the pump. I have a chap replacing the pump with one off e bay right now. I doubt he'd be happy to travel to Lymington, but will pop out and ask him.

Thanks, that's great. Apparently a local garage in Beaulieu are going to have a look at it for us now (director organised it), but we'll have a look at the pump.

Good to hear you have someone looking at it. Get them to crack the injectors and see if fuel is getting there. I ended up paying quite a bit for diagnosis that could have been much quicker.
Good luck smile

Pretty sure it's fuel, it will run on easy start but soon stalls once we stop spraying.

There's also a parts place in Totton, http://www.filspajeroparts.co.uk/

No actual experience of them - I once popped in to have them fit a battery because I didn't have a socket extender, but they seemed like alright lads.
