Report your sightings here!

So far, Chandlers Ford has...err...none. But let's see what the morning brings!

The reports I've seen say we won't be getting any all week.
Very cold but no snow.

Just driven from Southampton to Hook, there's a stretch of the M3 between the two turn offs for Basingstoke and almost up to junction 5 for Hook that is heavy snow, speed down to 30mph and a good covering across all lanes, then as you approach junction 5 it dies off and is only slightly snowing here at Hook right now.

Glad I broke the Freelander out of winter hibernation though, it's got heated seats!

A once south coaster, now Londoner can report a sprinkling of snow between Richmond and Basingstoke/Newbury. Not a lot to get excited about.

Saw two cars (just two!) on motorway today by M3 Junction 12 with 2-3cm of snow on them. But no one else - where had they come from? Why was everyone elses cars completely clear? To the mystery machine Scooby! wink

Nothing in Southampton at 7am, slight dusting in Havant at 8am, nothing since, all a bit of a non event.

All confirmed up to Hook. Then a continued light covering across through Hartney W/Eversley/Arborfield through to Woodley where we have very light snow falling.

I left Chichester around 7am this morning and getting up the A27 to Arundel was interesting! I normally laugh in the face of people who refuse to drive in snow, but I was half tempted to abort my journey and head home. I hit Worthing and there wasn't much snow there...but I guess all the heat from the stationary traffic from Grove Lodge onwards probably melted it all smile

Someone who can't bear to not have 6 litres of V8 in front of them!

In all seriousness, the Freelander is great in the winter, however, in true PH style it is a 2.5 V6 petrol which does about 17mpg and that reflects its 35,000 miles in 10 years!
