South coat snow
Discussion
Just driven from Southampton to Hook, there's a stretch of the M3 between the two turn offs for Basingstoke and almost up to junction 5 for Hook that is heavy snow, speed down to 30mph and a good covering across all lanes, then as you approach junction 5 it dies off and is only slightly snowing here at Hook right now.
Glad I broke the Freelander out of winter hibernation though, it's got heated seats!

All confirmed up to Hook. Then a continued light covering across through Hartney W/Eversley/Arborfield through to Woodley where we have very light snow falling.Glad I broke the Freelander out of winter hibernation though, it's got heated seats!

I left Chichester around 7am this morning and getting up the A27 to Arundel was interesting! I normally laugh in the face of people who refuse to drive in snow, but I was half tempted to abort my journey and head home. I hit Worthing and there wasn't much snow there...but I guess all the heat from the stationary traffic from Grove Lodge onwards probably melted it all

Stef
who hibernates a Freelander for the winter?!
In all seriousness, the Freelander is great in the winter, however, in true PH style it is a 2.5 V6 petrol which does about 17mpg and that reflects its 35,000 miles in 10 years!
