Am looking for something for me and my son to do Saturday afternoon (Hampshire). He's 16 and fairly active but I don't want to do anything massively strenuous as will be playing football beforehand!

Window of opportunity between 2 and 6 really - immediate thought was couple of hours bowling but anyone got any other suggestions? Just bored of the same ol' same ol' around here.

Isn't there a trackday at Goodwood this Saturday?

All a bit far way from Sunny Southampton area. Won't be back from football until gone one so that limits the time in the afternoon frown

Wodnered about The Race Centre in Chandlers Ford?

Race Centre was surprisingly good when I went for a Stag. Would recommend it but may be busy - worth calling to book!

The race centre at chandlers ford is meant to be brilliant I just haven't had the time to go down.

From what I've heard though it can get busy so probably worth giving them a call for Pre booking.

Race centre is good, I've been there, I enjoyed it very much.

Or, one a mate of mine has recommended to me, and is free to get in - the armouries museum at Portsdown Hill in Portsmouth? He said it was great...
