commute from christchurch to southampton
Discussion
I used to do this commute on the train which as easy.
Depending on whereabouts you need to get to in Southampton, for driving budget an hour but expect to do it in 45 mins or so in the rush hour.
Train was cost effective especially if you can buy a season ticket and would otherwise have to pay for parking in Southampton town centre. Train through the new forest early morning with a coffee and paper was a lot more relaxing than driving it.

thanks for the replies. I went down to christchurch to check the area out on the weekend. the whole area was pretty snarled up traffic wise . I think I will look up the west side of the new forest for something a bit calmer. Ringwood perhaps.
First weekend of the Summer Holidays and decent weather wise - most places down here become snarled up. Gassing Station | South Coast | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
