Holidaying in Dorset.

Hi folks.
My family and I are camping just outside Weymouth between the 15th and 22nd of August.
I just wondered if there were any meets, runs or shows whilst we are there ?

Up to 40 miles from Weymouth....

Anyone ???

Well, there's a performance Volvo meet around that time but it'll be about 50 miles from Weymouth.

I'll watch this thread tho, if there's something else going on, I might pop by

On Tuesday nights from 6pm is bike night on Poole Quay, lots of all different sorts, and on Friday nights from 6 is car night, different theme every week!

On Sunday 18th morning is our own SC breakfast meet, might be a bit far though!

No... Next door at Rosewall... We think it is perfect !!
Discovered it by mistake whilst turning around !!

Anything else non car related going on that would be worthwhile ???

Check Gurston Down and Wiscombe park, see of any hill climbs are occurring.

Classic Cars on the Prom every Sunday from 4 to 6pm up the hill from Bournemouth pier. Always a good turn out of pre '83 from yanks to rallye cars.

I'll be in Dorset (Wareham) for a short holiday over the next few days.
Apart from Beaulieu on the way through and the Tank Museum is there any notable car museums in the area?

Haynes museum in Yeovil might be worth a look and not too far from Wareham.
