I think that's what I need anyway.

I have a small resi development in central Portsmouth. The scummy neighbours keep coming through our back gates (oi, stop sniggering at the back!) and dumping their rubbish generally in and around our bin store (not even in the communal bin, just lobbing it on the floor )

The rear pair of gates are secured just by an latch (its actually the main entry and exit of the site so cant just be padlocked). I'm in discussion with P'Mouth Council about 'going legal' with the neighbour but it's going to be more cost effective to get a proper lock added to the gate, or even automated. Hopefully we can use the existing but may just have to redesign the gates.

So, after all that, anyone do this sort of thing or have contacts for someone reliable and 'correctly priced'?

Not Portsmouth as such but Smith & Austin on Hayling Island do some good work. They built a tidy little silk screen printing press for my daughter.
