Good Fish & chips

please could I get some local recommendations for decent F&C places on the coast (Brighton to Portsmouth, + or - a bit), preferably with good parking close that we could use as the destination for one of our clubs summer runs?

My advice is Lee-on-the-solent Fish and chips, reminds me of the old chippies upth north, skinless cod, decent potions and good value, come in via Tichfield/Stubbington along the coast road to make the run a bit more scenic, grab you food and then park up in the big main carpark on the seafront for half an hour, watch the boats/ships and world go by, don`t bother paying, if you are eating local Fish an Chips, everyone will turn a blind eye, being doing it for years on nice summers evenings

Try a Google search for a map and review.It is opposite a cheap carvery as well for another option?

LA Fish in Chichester, Great F&C's and it has a seated area as well.

Tony's advice is good advice, on a clear warm day it can be lovely down there.

What is mother kellys like these days? it used to be great and then went downhill for a while is it back to good food?

Haven't been recently but it just won a national chippy award in the last week or so

I've been using 'Banks' Fish and Chip shop in Cowplain superb quality fish and chips. It's next door to LIDL in Cowplain but don't let that put you off.
