Who would be willing to show me their pride and joy and take me for a little spin.

I have this itch and it will not go away, but I don't like going into a dealer and test driving with no intension of buying.

I of course don't expect to drive it, but I am unwilling to buy one without having at least been in one.

I put this in the 911 section first, but thought it may be more appropriate here.

I may be. Always had a porsche itch, I feel I would be cheating myself if I do t even think about it.

However, it will have to be special to tempt me away. Particularly as is just spent a day with Gary Marsh at Abingdon, doing some limit handling. He had me doing things in the beast that I never thought I would do in it. But he gave me the confidence to do it.

70-80 mph power oversteer for instance.

But it never hurts to keep my options open.

Totally shot, however I was close(ish) to needing a new set anyway.

It was worth it for the confidence it gave me in my own ability.
