Recommend a garage for major VW T25 engine work

Hi all

My VW T25 needs some major engine work (possible rebuild or replace) Is there anyone in the Portsmouth area (or isle of Wight preferably) that you would recommend?

I have seen Bugs and Buses in Southsea - but can't find much information about them?

I will post this in the Campervan section, VW section and Southern section too. (Hope that's okay mods?)

KFK in Sway are brilliant. I know it's a bit further from you, but well worth the trip! We took our T2 there for an annual service and when we picked it up, the guy had researched the history of our van for us and told us all sorts of stuff we didn't know about it! Did the same for a relatives van and discovered that it used to be an ariel van for a swedish TV channel in the 70's!

Conviniently for us (and maybe you if you're in Pompey), they are right next door to Sway train station which is on the main line from Pompey too, so it's easy to get there to collect!
