Brighton PHers Shout Out.

Hey there,

PHer from Singapore here, have been in Brighton and the UK for my posting and masters degree for a while now. I love cars but have not had the chance to go explore any nice roads here. Can't seem to find any petrolheads in forums in Brighton but seem to see quite a number of lovely cars. Most likely visiting from other regions I presume.

Since I will be leaving soon... Was hoping for car guys in Brighton to give shout out and maybe we could organise a meet up and drive. Want to get to know the beautiful sussex area.

The yellow TVR always at the parking lot, always get to see the lovely side profile whenever I am walking into town. Damn I would love to hear it running one day.

Blue VX220 spotted along the highway A27 or devil's dyke area.

Im driving a Black C63 sedan. Black rims, red calipers. But I don't drive in town much.

Pretty unique Aventador colour combination. Mustve come from somewhere that Lamborghinis are too comon, hence the paint to stand out. haha

That's a Lotus 11, and was with us on the London-Brighton last weekend
There were 2 or 3 of them on the run (I know one was a replica).

Hello and welcome. You've got myself (Mini GP1) and the OH (Panda 100hp or Lotus Exige) just across the way in Shoreham-by-Sea. We've got some fairly nice roads around this way too

To be fair, it does spend most of its time tucked up in the garage as I seem to have less and less spare time these days.

I don't know who Mark is, but I've owned it for about 8 years, but only moved to Hove 2 years ago.

It's heading to Le Mans on Thursday morning at silly o'clock, so I'll try not to wake everyone up decat + ACT sports exhausts = obnoxious levels of noise

Wow Mini GP1. I love that particular generation of Mini in the way its so damn usable in going hard. Only car i got caught speeding in, I blame it on the centre speedo, "its not in my line of vision" haha.

Which Lotus Exige is that OH? My mate let me try his, we kept up with a Murcielago, but I accidentally made the central tunnel trim come apart whilst shifting, felt so terrible after that.

Hey APGUY. Fantastic! Wish I could do Le Mans before I leave. I second FUBAR! Haha! Would rather hear that lovely exhaust than my alarm clock anytime.

By the way. Anyone has a valet to recommend. I used to use the one at School Road in Hove. But they changed staff or something. Started scratching the car and doing and half hearted job of it.

We like to head out towards Ashurst & Billingshurst but I'm sure there are others that are even better!

Haha I know what you mean about the speedo so that's why the wee digital display on the rev counter is always set to the speed! Mine is lightly modded with shift lights, JCW brakes, centre box delete, pulley mod, different cam & a cheeky remap. Ok maybe "lightly" is the wrong word..

He has an S2 Exige S 220. It is a little (!) broken at the moment after fritzing it's ECU but that is being sorted by Analogue Automotive as we speak. Just in time for our trip to Germany in July *phew*

I have driven it a few times and it's the raw sound & feel of it I just love it!

Nice!. I had a few minor mods on mine, not as extensive as yours. Just the JCW full performance kit, no cosmetics and a racing clutch and short shifter. But boy it was the most fun I had.

A few miles down the coast near sunny Eastbourne here, often over in Brighton and we used to live in Hove (by about 15m... actually; makes all the difference!).

Make an occasional run up the A27/A23/M23 in the GTV, failing that it's Postman Pat's van in white (Skoda Yeti) attempting to find a parking space somewhere in the middle of the town.

Often spot some interesting motors in Brighton, a recent snap below, burbled nicely:

I've seen a few gassers in Eastbourne (I work on Gildredge Road) so I'll have to keep an eye out for your car (apart from the other famous Eastbourne PHer lol)
