The wheels on my new car are pretty shocking and could do with a refurb. It's all four 17" alloys off an Audi A4 Avant that need doing.

I seem to recall that someone on here worked at/ran a company that did this? If there is, please PM me!

The accountant in our office also runs The Wheel Specialist in Ferndown. I’ve mentioned them a few times, so maybe that’s where you heard it. I’ve had a few sets done by them, always been good.

Took my mate along to the Wheel Specialist in Fareham this morning as he is having his Carrera 4 alloys refurbed. They have done my XKR, Octavia VRS and DB9.

I use a place in porchester, they refurb but don't get involved in straightening wheels I.e blast prime and powder coat.

Loose wheels they charge £30 a wheel 17s and do a reasonable job.

+1 - I live in Portchester so it would be good to have someone local...

http://www.kandnfinishers.co.uk/ ? Did a good job on my 16s - they were sprayed rather than powder coated as there are 6-7 inch plastic centre caps and colour matching would have been a problem if the wheels were powder coated and the centre caps sprayed. £180 all-in including tyre refitting and balancing with sticky back weights. Took about a week though and they won't take the car, just the wheels. I tried the wheel specialist in Fareham and the place outside of Droxford - both wanted almost twice as much money and were non-comittal on getting a good colour match. Would have been done in a day or two max though.
