Here's the video I took with the Quadcopter at pub club, it's unedited as editing is not a strong point of mine. But it is in 4k.

Looks fantastic! It is so stable!! Looks like a great evening too! You just need to alter the date in the description (2014 not 2004)

I love the dog, I think he wants to kill the drone.

What make is it? As sgreenham says, it's so stable.

It's a DJI Phantom 2, with 3d Gimbal, go pro hero 3 plus black edition, with Boscam thunderbolt 2000mw transmitter, iosd mini for telematics, and a mini tracker in case it gets lost. On the ground I have a lilliput 7 inch screen with a mini DVR to record telematics. I didn't record any data for this flight, but to give you an idea of what you get here is a video in lo-res of one I did the other day, it gives information on height, distance away from you, speed in meters per sec, battery voltage and percent remaining. Also how many satellites it has locked on to. The little diamond that moves around in the display is an indicator to the direction you need to fly to get the drone back to you.

Nice bit of kit, I nearly bought one for doing building surveys but was put off by all the red tape required to use as a commercial undertaking

This exact use was discussed last night at Pub Club.

Absolutely fabulous Peter, thanks for sharing with us all, great footage of all the cars, in particular repeated showing of The Volvo, apologies to all for bad parking Ha Ha. Loved the footage with the lovely lady and her dog, I think she thought you were filming her dog, wrong!!!!!!!
I've got a few pictures to add later, a few taken of the live feed screen, once again, great stuff.

Yes, that was me discussing it with Pete. We'd be very interested in using it to record our cars.

I've no doubt it was a popular topic in the evening. Our conversation was about building surveys.

I see a multitude of uses and with 4k resolution, the sky's the limit. (Sorry)

Really impressive...can't believe how high it goes and how clear it is! The police could benefit massively from this sort of thing.

How much is a bit of kit like this?

No need to apologise, as I said I bet plenty of people were discussing the little drone. It was a great little toy that appears to have many useful applications.

Good vid and tunes.

Drones getting very sophisticated now. Only a matter of time before they get regulated like crazy for consumers as well as businesses.

I had a customer at work take some photos of our boat yard for us. He said that the new sophisticated ones with built in GPS won't even take off if they're in a restricted area!

He's right, it won't take off if your too close to an airport, or other restricted area's. I think a mile. The organiser of Concorde classics wants me to do a bit of filming, I'm not sure how far away the concorde club is from the airport. May be a problem.
