Suggestions please from people in the area!

OK, I'm looking for some favours, links or recommendations.
I've a few things to do on two cars. The cars are not of a value which would warrant paying top dollar so I'm looking for alternatives!
1) 2001 SAAB 93 convertible. This car is black and has many small stone chips and thin paint so needs a 'blow-over' which can then be polished back.
2) 2002 Volvo V70. This has a 50p sized (deep) dent just above the corner of the grill and a few areas where the clear-coat is getting a bit rough. I also have some reflective window film to fit on the side and rear windows ( Don't want to cock it up myself!)
I'm not doing these things to increase the sales value of the cars, just to make them a little nicer to be seen in (shallow, I know)
So, any suggestions, ideas, offers would be welcome!
