M27 Roadworks

Just joined the M27 at Junction 11 (Fareham) and travelled the whole length on the M27 westbound coming off at junction 2. Not one worker or even a vehicle or JCB etc in any section of the roadworks.

Very strange.

1st day back after the Christmas break. They'll be like teachers having a training day!!

I suspect they’ll be back at the depot kicking their tyres / paper work / hse updates / training

The local early morning TV news reports accidents and /or broken down vehicles almost EVERY day since the works began. Such incidents seem to be 7 - 9am.
I now add to the clutter of local roads to avoid or ensure I complete an M27 journey by 6.30am.
