If you're reading this, you actions of turning into my drive, wheel spinning on my lawn and gravel drive have been reported to the police. Well done. I'm sure they will be on the look out for you.

HASTINGS/BATTLE area.

BTW: They looked drugged / drunk.

Yeah was gonna say registration is abit to new for a Nova. I once reported something simular but never heard no more as when/if it came to prosecution its word against word. Hopefully one day hey.

I know the police round this way are keen to follow up on dangerous and anti-social driving, they've kindly replied:

Thank you for the information regarding the dangerous driving earlier this evening. I have logged the details under serial 1694 30/05/09 and will make the local road policing unit aware. We have also passed on the details to Operation Crackdown, which is a joint venture ran by the police and local authority to crackdown on dangerous and anti social driving. They in turn will follow up the details with the registered owner.

Not being funny but I can't imagine its a member of this forum behaving in such a manner... or committing a crime such as driving a Saxo.

Better off hanging out down your local Maccy D's with a shotgun to catch the perpetrator.

True, I did a search of Saxo and can see their aren't many! Still, at least anyone who googles that reg plate in future will know not to buy the car because it's been extremely abused. Spinning on a gravel drive isn't going to do the paintwork much good, so I'll get my revenge knowing he's gone home to cry about the stone chips.

I guess it's possible it wasn't the owner driving it? Relatively easy to "acquire" a Saxo, I imagine...

Operation Crackdown just called me to get details. It's not a local car. It's from Maidstone and was only stopped at the beginning of last month for the manor in which it was being driven. My incident is also now logged on his file, so any more stopping for him and I'll guess he'll be in big trouble. He's the sort of person who's probably going to complain that he was prosecuted for doing 33 in a 30 - i.e. he won't realise that the police aren't going to be lenient when his record shows such incidents.

I'm really pleased to know that the police in this area at least are determined to get anti-social drivers dealt with.
