There is a track day to be run @ Goodwood on the above date and there are currently a dozen or so places left for any that would like to book yes
I will hopefully be attending in my Ultima and this will be the first time that I have taken it on track. RustiEvo from here will also be there in his Ultima and we have the honour of our guest 'the out of town-er' Raymondo Westapotamus the X touring car racer all the way from sunny Thruxton gracing our presence in his 550bhp 996 turbo, so that should be fun at least eek

How the devil are you John thumbup, have you recovered from our Sussexchleife exploit yet? hehe
I will be doing the full day John, I can't be going up half way through the day or alternatively going elsewhere after lunch, a track day at Goodwood deserves total attention and commitment, neither of which can be administered in only half a day yes

I may have to come along to nab some snaps for this...Is it possible to just drop by without prior invitation to do that?

Just spoke to Katie at Goodwood and she said it will be business as usual but the traffic is likely to be horrid. If I were in your position I would head up in the afternoon after lunch, hope to see you there wavey, come over and identify yourself won't you yes

That would be grand John but be warned.....know what you are letting yourself in for, owning an Ultima could not be more different than Pork farming. The easiest way to form an opinion is to wright down all the + points that your current ride has in it's favour. The Ultima will have at least double that number of - points yes
For me the Ultima, and in particular my GTW, has three key points that make all the blood sweat and tears worthwhile;
It is unique, one of a kind
It is as close to a 'race car' as I am ever likely to have ( or want )
It is the fastest car I have ever been in let alone driven: Period yes

John, if and when you do find a car that appeals, give me a call and I will be more than happy to come and view it with you.

I know what you are saying , but just got that itch that is not going to go away until i have had a good scratch, and if it doesn't work out, well so be it .
Many thanks for the offer to view Wayne , will catch up with you and have a chat at Goodwood

No! Thats why I'm bringing my 2.5 WRX instead wink I was thinking of insuring and taxing the tiv and bringing that too, but I think its over their 105dB range...and I've enough problems trying to sell it anyway (dont know why!?)...dont wanna add to it rolleyes
