GOODWOOD T/D - 3.7.09 first day of FOS
Discussion
There is a track day to be run @ Goodwood on the above date and there are currently a dozen or so places left for any that would like to book
I will hopefully be attending in my Ultima and this will be the first time that I have taken it on track. RustiEvo from here will also be there in his Ultima and we have the honour of our guest 'the out of town-er' Raymondo Westapotamus the X touring car racer all the way from sunny Thruxton gracing our presence in his 550bhp 996 turbo, so that should be fun at least

How the devil are you John
, have you recovered from our Sussexchleife exploit yet?
I will be doing the full day John, I can't be going up half way through the day or alternatively going elsewhere after lunch, a track day at Goodwood deserves total attention and commitment, neither of which can be administered in only half a day

I may have to come along to nab some snaps for this...Is it possible to just drop by without prior invitation to do that?
I'd like to do the same but I'm hoping to get FOS tickets for Friday!

Have a good one Wayne!

Well Wayne i did learn a lot about the car that day for sure
The Pork is up for sale again ,so one day i might get my hands on a Ultima once you guys realise there is a credit crunch and reduce your prices like the rest of us have done
not going to happen is it
Look forward to seeing you and the BLACK beast again

.....so one day i might get my hands on a Ultima.....
That would be grand John but be warned.....know what you are letting yourself in for, owning an Ultima could not be more different than Pork farming. The easiest way to form an opinion is to wright down all the + points that your current ride has in it's favour. The Ultima will have at least double that number of - points
For me the Ultima, and in particular my GTW, has three key points that make all the blood sweat and tears worthwhile;
It is unique, one of a kind
It is as close to a 'race car' as I am ever likely to have ( or want )
It is the fastest car I have ever been in let alone driven: Period

John, if and when you do find a car that appeals, give me a call and I will be more than happy to come and view it with you.
I know what you are saying , but just got that itch that is not going to go away until i have had a good scratch, and if it doesn't work out, well so be it .
Many thanks for the offer to view Wayne , will catch up with you and have a chat at Goodwood
