Out for a cruise in the New Forest last week, and sods law I was behind a 206 that kicked up a stone and the windscreen cracked right in the top left corner. Quickly enough the crack spread and lengthened to about 10 inches and is now in the wiper radius.

Obviously I need a new screen, but autoglass wanted to charge me 245 for the privilege.

Anyone know of any cheaper ways of getting a new 'screen on a 97 Corsa B?

Contact any of our branches in the area, about a third of that price. Bournemouth, Southampton, Portsmouth or Salisbury. Check my profile for the details.

Does your insurance not cover windscreen replacement?

Unfortunately not, since I am a poor student, I can only afford TPFT insurance. Which doesn't cover windscreens. Still set me back a grand.

EDIT: Cheers for the link phil, will be in contact soon. smile
