On a more serious note if you get there from 7-30 to 8-30 you should have no problems getting in. If you leave it too late you'll get dumped in the general public carpark and have to do more walking.

Thanks Ged. When do people usually head off? As I say, trying to negotiate the day with the wife as she's already a bit peeved that I'll be stealing the whole of Saturday.

I think last time I was there it got there about 7.45 and left about 10ish. But people do stay later, just that I had to please the missus too!

Think i'll try to get down there for about 7.45 this weekend, as heading off early again.

Hi folks,

I'm going down, be there by 0830, have to leave at about 0930 as have a race to marshal - of the running variety!

Will be in the turbo tubby, and have a question, can I leave the top up if it is wet?

Look out for a coral blue VX220 on an 06 plate and say "Hi"

Go most months, either by bike or car, as if you don't go you certainly won't see anything !!!

I was there, arrived at 8, almost no queues, left around 10ish.....was in the (only) white 997 TT Cab......a bit cold on the way down but still had the roof down nevetheless (and the heated seat on ), but lovely and sunny, esp in comparison to yesterday!
