I'm keen to put up an oak double garage at home, probably to buy in kit form. Can anyone recommend a company with sensible prices?
I've been recommended a company called Round Wood of Mayfield, East Sussex that seem very good but if anyone else has had a good experience it would be great to hear from you. Thanks

I used to live about 30 miles from Mayfield, they had a very enviable reputation when i was local to them, and from what i have seen thay are still as good.

Eh up, lads! If this is still a going concern, I emailed a chap (Craig Antill) I know who runs a leisure buildings company in Surrey and who likes his motorsport. thumbup

Here's a link:

1st Choice Leisure Buildings

He does metal, wood and other types of garages. He's replied saying he unfortunately can't help with an oak framed building this time, but he has a huge range of softwood, steel and concrete garages as well as pretty much any other type of structure you can think of!

I know he chooses his suppliers very carefully so what he sells isn't going to be crap and fall down next week. I'm no expert but prices seem decent to me.

Anyway, he says he's had dealing with English Heritage Buildings in the past who seem very professional and who might have what you're looking for if you still want oak-framed. Website: http://www.ehbp.com

I have no affiliation with him other than he's a mate. biggrin
