Hi,

Looking to get some items rechromed on the old girl over the winter whilst the engine transplant is underway, anybody
know of a good company who might be able to help ? ideally a company into cars.

Cheers in advance

The one I used to use in Fareham has gone.
Check out the bike forums as there tends to be more chrome on bikes than cars these days.

I am aware of two:
http://www.albionplating.co.uk/
http://www.lbplating.com/

Both in the Brighton area.

I have used Albion for some work bits, they are a small family outfit who seem to care.

Good Luck

The platers in Fareham, the bloke died and mum and daughter carried on, nice bloke he was, some years ago now.

Try Hampshire Electro Plating, Empress Road, Southampton, run by a fella called Nick, he had a restored Lambretta many years ago and he would make sure they did a decent job of anything. Info might be a decade or so out of date!
