Here's a few from yesterday walking on Hesworth Common in Fittleworth, near Petworth

Walking in a Winter wonderland - except that I'm now a bit bored with it. And yes sciving also AND I live only a ten second walk to work - there's just not a lot to do outside. Mark

First three pics taken along the country lane between the top of Goodwood hill and Singleton, and the last one on the dirt track between Goodwood hill and Lavant... and yes, we pulled over to let a snowboarder being chased by a Shogun overtake...

I'm suprised just how well the Forester behaved in the snow - not even a hint of a struggle over some pretty deep rutted snow and ice roads. I've not even bothered openning my garage door, I think if the Westfield just sees the snow and ice on the ungritted roads here it'd crash backwards through the garage wall in a ball of fire smile

I'll probably go by there tomorrow morning, (Singleton to Goodwood Hill)..

I've got to dig the RallyRep quattro out for a 'warm through' and the usual run is from 'ours' A24, A272, Midhurst, Singleton, Goodwood, Eartham, Bury, Storrington, A24 and home... Should be a nice little 'saunter'...

Some stunning pictures above, crying shame about the Cider Tree, there's numerous trees damaged or fallen around our local woods too.

PS - Edited to tidy up spelling, sorry

There really is some stunning scenes throughout Sussex at the moment, superb piccies folk...

Popped out with the RallyRep...

Slung the RallyRep into a snowbank today in the Pulborough Brooks Woods... Got some superb pictures...

Mind, took me 15 minutes to get it out, with a shovel... The nearest bit of clear road was 800 yards away...

Oh well, the joys of Summer Tyres

They look like Goodyear Eagle F1's? hehe Or T1-R's, one or the other!

Love your shots by the way, sights from my childhood. I used to live on Hillview Road during my school years & naturally went to the Vale & was found regularly attempting to run across the "Gallops" during cross country after school hehe

Good times cloud9

Cissbury Ring's still stunning too...Little careful of going there sometimes, dont trust the livestock there!! :rofl

T1-R's... Not the best, it has to be said, for plugging out of a snowy ditch, even with all the diffs locked....

I should have got the forest spec ground clearance and M&S tyres sorted earlier...laugh

Yeah I spoke to my dad the other day (as I'm sure you know, an EG resident) and he said they'd had some serious snow there.
He only went into work today...! He said even the Audi was awful getting to work in!

I said try that on ice in a lightweight RWD with Eaglel F1s... "Oh yes" was his reply! hehe
