Chaps,

If anyone knows anyone in relation to the poor chap who got smashed into by some wayward Clio which I can only assume was being driven by someone mentally disturbed...I can offer my details as a witness for them.

I've already let Sussex Police know, but just in case anyone else here that has "connections" in helping track down the poor so & so who had there day ruined, I'm more than willing to help them as I just happened to be in the perfect position & nabbed the reg of said driver also.

What I saw was just completely not on eek

Me posting it on Matt's facespace-bebotwit page said:
A clio coming North from the A2025...Now with it being the A27 at 8:20 am, naturally it's bloody heavy traffic...Two lanes of traffic heading from east to west going straight on the roundabout....

This effing Clio decides it's a good idea to head out & turn right, but as she heads out she's effectivelly slotted herself with the 2 cars heading west in each lane, you would've thought she was following them! But no, she smashes into the side of the car on the inside lane (Missed the one nearer to her), heading straight over the roundabout, trashes her nearside corner, headlights totally out, big crunch. The car hit, slows down at the start of the A27 stretch & comes to a halt causing a HUGE queue from the roundabout back all the way along the 27, but the clio after causing this doesn't stop, carries on going, even with other people inside the car! Continues as if nothing happened for 10 BLOODY MILES up to the Brighton turnoff!

I was just lost for words...Me being at the front heading from west to east, I saw it all, rather than check how the victim was (They had a huge flock of cars around them) I went after the Clio & nabbed the reg.

Shall report it in later when I get back into Worthing.

It's just unreal that somebody can have an accident like that, ruin someones day, no doubt the police have had to be called out as it's on a major carriageway, delay commuters all round the area for at least an hour knowing how even a minor breakdown can normally affect journey times there & the poor soul that got hit has no come back!!

Just fking unreal.

I can only imagine one reason why she didn't stop - she must have been pissed.
