Hi folks,

A mate of mine is thinking to organise some karting at Qleisure, and has asked me to find out if it's any good.

Anyone been there? Is it any good, or are there any preferable options within striking distance of Brighton?

Many thanks

Havent personally been to Qleisure although some friends have. I think the impression was it was 'ok'

Some local TVR owners are trying out the new 3 level indoor track at Crawley in the coming weeks so I'll report back their thoughts if you have time to wait? http://www.team-sport.co.uk/crawley/news.php

The track in Crawley is brilliant full, although I only did the 2 tier track. Should still be quite slippy as it's relatively new!

I went last summer. It is very good. Well organised, close to Brighton,a nice big track and a bar for beers after.

The karts aren't the quickest, but plenty fast enough.

Crawley over three levels is great, Brighton is a bit of a let down in my opinion.

i went to the team sport track in Crawley the weekend just gone. we raced the top two tiers.

The Karts were all very different, some tight & fast, some loose and slow, some cutting out if left to idle for any relatively long period of time.

The track is very enjoyable though, slippy and challenging with some decent overtaking sections.

The layout of the session was good with little time to hang around between heats.

I've done all combinations at the Crawley track now and it is very good........the 3 tier is almost a minute long and plenty of good racing to be had......last time I went (3 weeks ago) the track was ultra slippy and a lot of fun........

Ever since racing at thruxton karting centre, I won't go on an indoor track again! They're all so wishy washy with painted floors that give zero grip and usually poo karts! I know thruxton is well out the way but I 1000% assure you won't be disappointed! One of the longest tracks in the south and the karts are very fast and more than powerful enough to powerslide on unpainted Tarmac!! Ideal for the sideways fanatics amoungst us!
