Is there someone here who will valet my car?
Discussion
Hi,
After over-doing it breaking down our stand at a recent boat show I've managed to tear a muscle and give myself a hernia. Sucks because I'm only 24 (well, 25 in a week). I've pretty much written off my summer and I was really looking forward to getting the tent, kayak, bike etc out for the nice warm weather.
Anyway, I keep lifting and doing things and making it really hurt and my girlfriend won't let me do anything anymore! Not even clean my car!
I'm sure there's someone on here who runs a small car valeting company but sorry, I can't remember your name. Sure you were at the Rolling Road day a while back.
I have a 2000 Audi S4 Avant in need of a good clean, polish and wax and maybe interior shampoo and vacuum too. It's not really dirty, just dusty where it's been sat for so long (it's been off the road for a month). I would also appreciate some suggestions for my paint swirls and light scratches.
Thanks,
Dan

Ouch that sounds harsh mate - not a good way to start the Summer! It was Luke at the RR day with the Golf VR6 - http://lgautoworx.co.uk/lgautoworx/home.html

That's him, thanks. That's my friend's S2000 in his portfolio. Bit more than I wanted to spend though
And yep, it's painful!
Drop Gary (sotonboy1977) a PM on here i'm sure he'll fit to your budget i know a few on here were happily surprised with what he did for the price they paid.

would be more than happy to help, also I have done boat show, set up/break downs and know the work that goes into it,there would be no boat shows if railway sleepers had not been invented !!.that was earls court days
Ahh good old Earls Court the days before health and safety went mad! Hi,
Thanks for the offer. I've already arranged to have it cleaned by Luke now through a friend.
What is it you've both been doing at boat shows? I'm quite new to the game and have never known the good days off Earls Court and the likes. I've only been in the industry for 3 years or so.

We both worked for Sea Ray, Farretti and Pershing for a couple of years and had to do the build up and breakdown of the SIB and LIB shows the we had a marine valeting company together and looked after a lot of boats at the shows.
Earls court was a challenge just getting some of the big boats in and out the halls tbh it was a logistical nightmare!
