I was just about to post this Barry now their website's gone live.

Interesting to see they've moved it from Sep to Jul, World Cup final Weekend and Le Mans Classics although I doubt it'll put off too many people in the overall scheme of things. Still, decent day or weekend and not too pricey.

I'll be there again doing the event photography, any PHers who do come along would be great to say hello on the day so make yourself known smile

A few pics from 2009 event:

I have been waiting ages to see some of the footage from this too. Bit of a dead loss really. I keep checking their site http://luminarymovie.com/

AFAIK it's still in production. Sure it's taken/ taking a long time but I'm expecting a feature length programme and that's not a quick thing to put together. I do know as recently as November the crew was in Japan filming the last of their Luminaries. I'll follow it up and let you know smile

Ok, I thought perhaps they thought the footage was not fitting with what they did and so ditched it? Cant wait to see my ols Masser reliving itself of about £50 worth of rubber!

I was stood a fair way off the start line, there's more than just a good start with 4wd at play there. Every time I look at this pic I laugh to imagine what he's thinking - you can see the shock in his body language and where he's looking.

Their is nothing like that 'but, but it's a 4 seater saloon car' look, and I would think off the line the Porker should have the upper hand anyway.

To quote the kidz on the streets, Owned.

The thang-is, there's more to life than a dry tarmac drag strip... They're built for different jobs.

Depends.

He may live his life a quarter mile at a time, for those 13 seconds or less he's free.

True, but irrelevant.

IIRC that Porker was beaten by everything it came up against (certainly during the time I was there). Just goes to show it ain't what you drive, it's how you drive it!

Anyway, it looks like I'm free that weekend, so I'll be aiming to beat the 13.955 @ 105.3 that I managed to scrape on my 3rd (& final) run last year.
