The missus is getting her personal plate fitted this week / weekend, but needs to find somewhere that will make them up. Halfords would be my first choice but they dont do car emblems. She wants them as below, and she would rather buy local than get them off the net.

Any recomendations where to go in the Bournemouth / Poole area?

Hi Eddie,
Might be worth giving the guys at Mike Stokes a call on this. They may be able to at least recommend someone if they can't do an emblem plate.

Cheers

Hi, first post here! been looking on this forum for ages!

Ebay may be worth a shout... i just got two new plates for 7.50, bargain and they looked ok. i'm not sure if the place i got mine done those custom ones but i'm pretty sure i saw a company that said they did...

I might be wrong but I didn't think that non-country logos were strictly legal?

You are correct, the police know this and are starting to tug people for it too.

I've heard of places on the web that do such plates but as show plates only. but as indicated before, it is not worth the hassle from the police and DVLA. I know of a few people who have been tugged due to spacing, logos and font type.

Its not exactly the same as above. We went for a slightly different one instead so is now 100% legal. Its got the Alfa logo on a blue background with the GB/Euro badge above. Looks really smart.

Whilst I think you may get away with it the blue emblem you show is not legal.
