I was thinking the Bridge Tavern in old Portmsouth may be a decent venue during the summer for one of your gatherings. Large carpark next to it and good views all around. There are often meets of veedubs/vespas/americans/classics there so im sure they would be happy to have us all.

Just a thought!!

I reckon that'd be a great location. Good to have one this way too in the capital city of the South Coast.

There arent any cameras on the way into the city, but you will pass 2 on the way out. It would only be the last mile and a half that would be driving through the city. You could put a decent route together prior to that. I think it would be ideal. The carr park is huge and always fairly empty midweek in the evenings.

Sounds like a plan, I'll get on it with a chat to the venue and sort a route.

Really DC there is no need for that when you visit the finest City on the South Coast, if you make it through the rough area between Winchester and Portsmouth then you'll be fine once you get into Portsmouth..... biglaugh

Anymore of that nonsense and we'll have our M27 back. We only had the thing put in to by pass that other place. You've all been using it to come here for years now.

You can keep your M27, I hate the road, it has to be the bit of m-way with the worst drivers (and especially lane discipline) on I have seen. Also judging by the comments on the chap with the other Lambo's post, it is also well avoided. Both DC and I are commenting on the real South Cost Capital, a bit further up the M3 from the 'other' place...smile

I think he means Lyndhurst.

He's wrong of course.

Bournemouth is the clearly the capital of the South Coast.

Well at least you've got a beach and not just a ferry terminal to the IOW and a John Lewis.

Portsmouth is full of drunken sailors, bournemouth is full of refugee's, and southampton, well... Winchester has got the most evil one way system, clearly Whiteley is the souths capital.
