Adults £16!!

Senior Youth Child
£15.00 £9.60 £8.60

Anyone else think this is steep for what is essentially a museum.

Have been in the shop on two occasions. Still haven't been round yet because the price just seemed too high. I must be a tight arse.

Or not judging by what I read on Facebook the views in this thread - another one here says too much, esp once I've paid for two reluctant children to wonder round breaking things.

It is steep - which is a real shame, it's a great place once inside.

Go this weekend. It's the boat jumble on Sunday. Pay to get into the boat jumble and I'm pretty sure you're free to roam the museum in the price. It's still expensive but at least it's a bit more of a day out. There's plenty of new and used boats on display as well as loads of chandlery and stalls.

I work there each year with my company displaying new boats.

i think its expensive for what yoiu get, i go once maybe twice a year for the autojumble and mini show which is a tenner to get in. i personally think the museum needs a very big update and i think the haynes museum at sparkford knocks spots off beaulieu

u want to try and go on a day when they have a show on or something. it makes it a bit better value for money. i like the mini show.

I object to having to pay nearly £50 for 3 of us to go to the autojumble or any other event there. I won't be going back for anything in the future.

Hello Geoff,

Haven't seen you since the VX220 meet in Ferndown years ago! You parked your Ferrari next to my dad's blue VXT. I had the green VX220 NA there as well. You still got your Ferrari?

EDIT: Just seen your profile, Ferrari 360 now...nice!

£16 - It took me about 3 hours to see the museum and grounds (I walk rather slowly). so just over £5/hour and if you 'gift aid' you can visit several times a year so even cheaper/hour.

Not a cheap family day out, but still reasonably priced, though I do agree that Haynes museum is a better prospect.

It must have changed since 1940 as the history of it's war involvement goes up to 1945 and the monorail was not there during the 1940's.

the 360 is great I have to admit!
The VXR eventually got parked neatly in a large bush by the side of the M27 on a damp morning (A048's and damp Tarmac + 280 bhp don't work too well!!!)
