Ian's Dax - What a machine!
Discussion
Big thanks to Ian for taking some time out yesterday afternoon to show me round and of course take me out in the car.
Now I wasn't quite sure what to expect from it, I've been in some relatively fast cars and on a few bikes in my time so I was prepared for this to be some what confusing but I don't think I was preapred enough. The acceleration of course is that of a bike although being so low slung gives the illusion of being quicker. I'm not going to lie, when Ian planted it I giggled like a schoolgirl.
Then came the corners, this is where the difference between two and four wheels really came to light. I guess a comparison between this and a laser guided missle wouldn't be an unfair one. Even on cold tyres, where Ian pointed this thing went. I'd love to see what its capable on a track, I get the feeling that with the way Ian has it geared that it would wipe the smug grin off most supercar drivers facs, especially on a more technical circuit.
Anyway enough of my Whatcaresque review (apart from the pictures which are of course below) I'd just like to thank Ian once again and commend him on the build of such an incredible machine.
