I've heard the A31 was chocka-block already at about 2pm. Wondering what the journey to Poole will be like.

I did the journey from Southampton to Poole around 11am this morning and then came back at 1ish, it was a nightmare!

Looked even worse ont he way back, A31 was definately very slow!

Good luck if you head down there

All these fricking grockles, combined with well timed road works equals one massive pain in the arse! Don't know about Bounemouth Lee, but if you are heading to Poole then the Canfordway is packed so miss that at all costs along with Ringwood road. Personally I would go along canford heath, through arrowsmith, along gravel hill and to Poole that way. Holiday makers don't really know that route.

I got stuck on the A338 last night, leaving Bournemouth, I came round the left hand turn after the straight which goes under the Matchams lane overpass at about .9 of a Lepton to be confronted with stationary traffic and a Micra trying its best to reduce my braking distance further by swapping lanes very much at the last moment. I then trundled upto Ashley Heath it cleared, onto the A31 about two miles later it just slowed to standstill so I came off at Poulner.

To right! My 5 minute work journey home now takes me 25 mins!

Well the A338 into town was fine tonight (although I took Matchams to be on the safe side) but coming out was awful at that time.

Still, I got to Poole Quay alright and it was a fiiine turnout.

Hey Pete, what happened to you? Absence of a Tigger was noticed.
