Need some repair work and a spray job done on the front clam off my VX220 so I can get the bloody thing back on the road before summer is over. Been waiting for a quote from the garage I normally use in Guildford for 2 weeks and just got it in. Its a bit pricey and they can't fit it in until the end of the month. Anyone suggest anywhere locally? I'm going to give Sandydown a buzz tomorrow. Oh yeah - don't hit pheasants in plastic cars...

Cheers

Must've been a bloody big pheasant or flimsy fibreglass. I hit a fox, at speed, in my Sebring(Plastic Healey) and the bodywork was undamaged. knocked the front grille off and smashed the fan off the radiator but the fibreglass was fine.

Anyway, to answer your question, he may be a bit far out for you but Dreamshack in Durley do all sorts of specialist engineering and body work. May be worth giving him a call: www.marksdreamshack.com

Thanks for the heads up on the Dream Shack. And yes - I reckon it was a pretty bloody big pheasant- didn't really see it, it came out of nowhere and bouncg up over the car.

Anyone else got any suggestions? Just been out to Sandydown and was not very impressed.

I second Liphook coachworks they did a cracking job three years ago on my Esprits lower front lip.

Again its down to how busy they are and how long you can wait ....
