I think its about trying to make building houses on some really nice fields and woodland (I am biased because it's all behind my house) seem a good thing?????

If this is the level of Winchester councils presentations, god help us all. I didnt know Matt was a model, he seems to appear with a foot on his head towards the bottom of the document.

And I love the concept of 'More than one Masterplan'... That's right up there isn't it... A masterplan for success, a masterplan for mediocrity, and a masterplan for failure maybe?

This kind of thing really worries me. Imagine the brain power that went into the construction of this PDF. They have control of our lives to an extent. No wonder this country is fked up. I am dealing with Winchester council at the moment on another matter, it is astounding how lax they are with everything. It takes up to a week to get a phonecall returned, everything you ask has to be chased, they are on a permanent go slow. I would love to see council employees working for a private corporation, they would not know what hit them!

Well, about half would never know what hit them as they would be made redundant before the new private owners even opened the doors for business.

Then the rest would know what hit them, unless of course they took their management with them! Then the company would soon fold....................

Mmmm, clearly it's about the next review of the strategic local development plan. However it appears unfinished and not really a Council product at all to me. Really quite confused about some really ill-phased sentences "not many people get to create new places" etc. Photographs with vague meaning too. I suspect it accompanied a presentation in which the presenter failed to have time to bullet point the content of what he/she was saying.

Having dealt with Winchester myself before, I'm hardly surprised.
