My housemate bought a Golf from somebody here last night, whoever it was, I'd just like to say you made his evening smile

It goes at the weekend.

He wanted something he could actually afford to drive when he felt like driving I think. But I reckon he'll miss it - I used it to rush to Portsmouth to take the GF to hospital and by god it's fast. And stable. And handles well. And with the K&N sounds immense at full chat!

Hell, I'M going to miss his Mondeo frown

I wasn't that impressed with the MK4 GTi turbo I drove, that was supposedly rocking 200bhp.

Hope the trip to the Hospital was nothing too serious?

How much did the Mondeo go for?

It wasn't a turbo wink Well it was, but not a GTi. He wants a car he can afford to drive so he's bought a GT TDi (I think it's a GT) - by all accounts it's a really nice one and he'll be able to afford to drive this one...

He got £4600 I think for the Mondy in the end, which was only about £400 less than his starting price - always good.

And sadly, the reason I had to drive her to the hospital quick smart was a miscarriage - though at the time we were under the assumption from the doctor it was ectopic and they told her I had to get her to hospital immediately, hence the fact I was moving at a fair old lick.

It happens, nothing to be done about it really.

But thanks, it's appreciated none-the-less smile
