Hi Chris,

Have just added myself to the list, unfortunately I'm unable to guarantee that I'll be there, but will do what I can

Fantastic biggrin, if you don't manage to get to the hoon we'll hopefully see you at the BBQ - anytime from 6.00 - 8.30pm beer

I finish work at 16:00 so should be able to make this. We have family down from London and abroad, one of which loves cars, the others don't so I'll have to see if they want to come or not!

Be great if you can make it - maybe the run could convert the non car lovers??

If you think it is likely you can make it please add your name to the list under the main 'events' section. Thanks smile

If we did come and the non car lovers weren't interested in the BBQ and the cars, would they have to pay to get in or are they free to walk around the grounds as a general member of public?

The general idea is that everyone who comes along takes part in the BBQ, but so long as a few of you are eating I don't think there'll be an issue. I've persuaded the restaurant owner to hire in the BBQ equipment and buy the food so I want to ensure the event is profitable for him whilst being fun for us smile

Hope to see you tomorrow - the weather forecast is looking good biggrin

I am looking forward to it. smile
We are on a FOC airport sprint event in Somerset including lunch and the BBQ on the Test will be the perfect end to a late summer weekend.

Oh how I need to diet frown

Enjoy the sprint (there I was thinking it was Free Of Charge!) I really must join the FOC so I don't make the same mistake again laugh

Look forward to seeing you tomorrow biggrin

A few people have had last minute changes of plan - if anyone else would like to join us for a hoon followed by a BBQ please do smile

I'm coming from Lymington (aka grockle country) and Lyndhurst is always a nightmare and I'm expecting it to be even worse on a Sunday afternoon. Not really sure what route to take, might go to Beaulieu, then up to Southampton, over the M271 and M27 and up the A3057 to Romsey. Might be quicker than doing Lyndhurst then along the M27.
