Where to buy helmet? (Sussex)

They are still trading, they're just up in the village, drove past them last weekend... Didn't realise they did racing helmets (for cars) as well as bike helmets... I might have to pay them a visit at some stage, my certificate's run out.
Went there this morning..... only sell bike helmets. No car stuff. It's further to travel, but the motorsport shops at Castle Combe & Silverstone definitely sell them, and you can try them on first. There may be one at Brands, but not sure about that?
If not then there are a few smaller traders about, but it's a matter of searching online I am afraid, I have bought a few bits in the past from Nicky Grist, who are excellent, but they are based on the Isle of Man if memory serves me correctly, so not exactly down the road, but if you want something delivered then it'll arrive quickly. Demontweeks is much the same deal and often have offers on.
Essentially I think yu're going to have to do some travelling outside of the 1 hour zone I am afraid if you are planning on trying something on. Remember the golden rule, £50 helmet for a £50 head! Try not to scrimp too much on something that is potentially going to save your life.
Here's a link to a load of info I found on the regs surrounding Helmets for use in motorvehicles (written during my time as RT/10Dave):

I eventually bought a Stilo SP2 Formula, which also has the option for a peak for inside a closed cockpit car and visor for open car, (I've used it in both formats and find it excellent): One of these:
